Ten Day Dream Journal

My dream last night was kind of odd. What I can recall is that I was living in this weird building and it was in the middle of this city. The city had almost no people in it except for the people I was hanging out with and some “bad people” that were living somewhere else. So me and the guys are hanging out in the front of a building making our way down the front ramps to the street. I see a few cars coming around a turn in the distance at high speed so I told the group to get down. They all find cover but I was stuck in the back. I take too long to get to cover so I sit and keep myself still. I hope they pass by without noticing me or the group. Well the cars get closer and turn on the street in front of us. I watch as they keep going then make a U-turn to flank us. I tell the group to “move!” and I pick my ass up and start running. I start running to the left and in front of me is a field that has a cliff at the end. The bad guys in the car behind me have guns and stuff but don’t fire. I know they don’t fire because they know they have already won and they want to conserve ammo. As I am running to the cliff edge the others get away because I was drawing the cars away from them. I think about what is going on and I am not really scared. I get to the edge and I kind of leave the dream. Not because I was frightened of falling but because I was deep in thought about what was happening in that little world of mine.

I think the site is wrong. I feel like I have been conquering my fears just fine.

I had this dream where I was feeling self-conscious about my stomach. In my dream I had a rather large beer gut. I was neglecting an abs-roller that I owned and when I was asked why I neglected it I told them I had run out of instruction guides. I explained that the abs-roller came with a stack of self esteem printouts that you would use when working out. You would put a piece of paper on the ground and then workout on top of it. Once the printouts were gone I could no longer use the abs-roller.

I think the website is on point. I have actually been working out more because of this dream.

I was in this library that was a lot like the library of the art institute. I was looking out the window at this house that was being watched by a police woman. She had a large gun in her hands and was watching the back door closely. One man emerged from the back of the house and started running. She tried to shoot him but she missed and began to run after him. Once she started running after him, another man came out of the house and saw that she couldn’t see him, so he ran the opposite direction. I wanted to get down there and catch the “bad guys” but I couldn’t get my shoes on fast enough and a friend of mine kept me from leaving the library.

The website makes sense. I was studying the situation across the way until I needed to take action.

There was this party on this dock, in a swamp. I am not quite sure what was going on but it seemed like at one point it was a really cool place to hang out. The edges of the docks were lined with large unsteady couches. I jumped on a few of them and nearly fell into the water every time. I believe the water had crocodiles in it. That was a weird one.

“To see a swamp in your dream, symbolizes aspects of yourself that are repressed and dark. You may be feeling insecure. The dream may also be a pun on feeling swamped from work, a relationship, or other emotional burden.”
I disagree with the website. I can see how it may be that with others but not me. I am probably just trying to avoid danger in life.

Last night I dreamed about going to an old mini-mall near where I used to live. The entire place was being demolished/changed for something else. There used to be a 7/11 there but it closed down. I told the person I was with that and they took me to another 7/11 down the street. I ended up going inside and looking at comic books.

The mall is also symbolic of materialism and the need to keep up with the trends, fads, and/or the latest technology.”
I guess if I put them together it kind of makes sense. I think I feel like my old home town is moving away from me. So I need to enjoy the time I can there before it goes away completely. I think I may move so that’s probably why I had this dream.

In this dream I was a zombie. I was ok. It was kind of like watching a PG zombie movie from the zombie’s point of view. There was this tiny building that was like 6 stories tall. Each level was owned by very different looking people. I went up to the building and it just started to crumble away. I made my way up a few floors and I hear this one lady trying to fend me off. She keeps throwing things at me to keep me from getting to her apartment. At the same time she is yelling for her two roommates (two guys) to come help her. I hear the two men in the background saying that they are busy and that she can handle it. I get distracted and I stop being a zombie in the dream.

Alternatively, it may indicate that you are feeling dead inside and are simply going through the motions of daily living”
I don’t agree with the website entirely. I do feel as if I am a slave to my work and school and the army. I have very little free time and sometimes that can feel like I am just going through the motions.

I was dreaming of this famous chef that cooked the best BBQ. He was Indian guy and all of his fans were Mexican. I was a fan too because it was delicious. This dream was pretty dull. I was kind of just starting at the food the whole time. I think I am hungry.

The website is correct… I was hungry!.

My girlfriend and I were driving down the street in my old green car. I haven’t driven in this car for like a year or two now in real life. Anyways we drove past this apartment complex and this fire was starting outside one of the buildings. So I stopped the car and ran over to try to help put it out and I told my girl to call 911. Se said it really wasn’t that big of a fire so she didn’t call. As we got closer to the fire it seemed a lot smaller. When I was right in front of the fire it went out. I looked up and this fat white lady was cooking some stuff on her balcony on the second floor. The smell seemed tasty I think she was cooking bacon. She said she was ok and that was it.

I didn’t really think I had anything to interpret but I agree with the website.

Last night I had a dream that I was working my job at the Print Lab. I was kind of upset that I dreamed about work but what can I do. My friend Mike showed up and said that he won a contest from the newspaper. I made a bunch of copies for him. He also needed me to print him out an eye patch for some reason. The eye patch folded up into a little book. The print lab had transformed into a large working computer lab and I was in charge of all of it. This one girl was yelling at this other girl at a computer. I went over and tried to keep them from having a fight. I was successful. Then my girlfriend showed up with my buddy Jane. They looked surprised to see me working.

I feel fine about work. I think this dream was another “keep myself busy” kind of dream.

I had a dream that I went out to Denton, Tx with my friends from Plano. It was a rainy day and we were all taking a bunch of pictures for later. I had a great time just running around with my friends. I remember seeing the color green very brightly on some leaves. It was very pretty I had a hard time looking away. There also was this fat homeless guy playing a guitar and talking to a squirrel. I watched this man play for a while. He stopped playing once to eat a snack. Apparently the guitar doubles as a box of cereal. He ripped off the top of his instrument and started to eat some flakes of some sort. The squirrel he was hanging out with seemed to have very short arms.

I couldn’t really find anything on the website that analyzed this dream clearly. I think that squirrels in a dream are nothing but that. “Future embarrassment” seems like a load of dream crap to me.
